Been a long time since I've seen your smile

So I kinda forgot about this blog. Oops. I really don't think I'm disappointing any faithful readers out there, since I have told no one about this blog, and I've only written one post so far. If anyone did read my first post and were eagerly awaiting its sequel, sorry for the long wait. But I'm back! 

Since my last post I have encountered much chaos and craziness in my life. I suffered my first migraine as soon as my grad classes were over for the semester (just when my life was winding back down, if even temporarily), I had a very Jerry Springer Christmas with the fam (unfortunately, I am too sober to divulge the details at this time), my dog Otis went crazy and began suffering from Springer Rage (despite that he is a cocker spaniel, not a springer spaniel), and I am back in crazy grad classes that steal away any and all free time I may have. I am constantly making sacrifices to my academics to try to maintain something reminiscent of a social life, but I primarily sacrifice my social life for academics. I can't wait until my grad work is done! 

I am now partaking in a blog about censorship in books for children and young adults for one of my master's classes, which hopefully will prove to be as interesting and controversial as the subject of censorship is. However, that is the true reason I logged on here tonight, so I must go be the responsible student that I am...err, that I try to be. Have a good one! :)
